Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken are hilarious as they attempt to collaborate together and record the song “Don’t Fear the Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult. If you’ve heard this song, you must have noticed the cowbell. The skit takes place during the recording session of this song as the band becomes irritated with their gyrating cowbell player (Will Ferrell). He insists on wildly thrusts his pelvis around the recording studio after taking the direction of the producer (Christopher Walken) who feels that you just can’t have enough cowbell. There are two Cowbell tees that anyone who loves this sketch must own. One T-shirt has Will Ferrell on it playing the cowbell. The other one is black and has Christopher Walken on it. It reads “I have a fever and the prescription is more cowbell”. I wonder what the actual recording session was like! I’ll always think that song can use more cowbell. And I’ll always love wearing my More Cowbell t shirt!
